Cleveland Electrolysis

My client was Cleveland Electrolysis, a startup business that needed a website and complete branding including a logo and social media.

Researching this type of service enabled me to understand the type of user of the site who would use this type of site and the key pieces of information needed. The majority of clients for this type of business are women. Transgender individuals and men will also seek out this service.

Electrolysis is a very sensitive and personal service. Most individuals do not generally talk about this topic and find this type of services via online searches.

I determined the website needed to be responsive as well as search engine optimized so that it could be easily found in web searches and to help promote the new business. I created a logo and helped the owner set up a Facebook page and a blog to increase traffic toward her site. The site was built with HTML5 and CSS3.

The client was very busy and found that most of her clients were finding her through her website. She has since retired from her practice and no longer maintains her website. The live site button above takes you to a copy of the original site.

I helped set up a Facebook page and encouraged the owner to start a blog about her services, in order to increase traffic and interest in her site.

Here is the business card I made for the owner.

Testimonial

“As a new business owner with no digital marketing experience, I had no idea of where to begin with regard to website design.  Lindsay was a lifesaver!  She took the time to understand the nature of my business and offered different options with regard to web layout and format.  She took all of my ideas into consideration and used her own creativity to develop a visually beautiful website that is accessible and user-friendly.  I couldn’t be happier with the end result!  Today, almost all of my clients are finding me through my website. ”
